The cost of a domestic relocation is primarily driven by distance and volume, but other factors play a role.
- Total Distance: The sheer mileage between the origin and destination is the largest cost driver, factoring in fuel and driver time.
- Volume and Truck Type: The amount of goods dictates the truck size.
- Dedicated vs. Shared Truck: Booking a dedicated truck means the vehicle carries only your goods and leaves immediately (express transport). Opting for a shared truck (Part-Load) is cheaper but takes longer, as the vehicle waits to consolidate loads from other customers.
- Insurance Premium: The cost of transit insurance is calculated as a percentage of the total declared value of your inventory.

We strongly recommend and offer transit insurance for all long-distance moves to cover your goods against road accidents or natural disasters. Transit insurance is available at a standard rate of 3% of your declared inventory value.

How is my furniture protected for long interstate journeys?
We use a multi-layer packing approach. Furniture is first wrapped in protective foam or blankets, then sealed in corrugated sheets, and finally tightly bound with stretch film. This prevents moisture, dust, and friction damage during long road transits.
Can I track my shipment during transit?
Yes. All our long-distance transport vehicles are GPS-enabled. We provide you with a tracking ID so you can monitor the truck's progress online in real-time.
What is the difference between a dedicated and shared truck?
A dedicated truck is hired exclusively for your move. It is loaded, sealed, and driven directly to your destination, offering the fastest delivery time (express transport). A shared truck carries goods from multiple customers going in the same direction. It is more budget-friendly but takes longer, as the truck makes multiple stops and waits for a full load before departing.
Who pays the toll taxes and border fees?
Standard toll taxes and commercial vehicle border crossing fees are included in your initial quote. You will not be asked to pay extra for these during transit.
What happens if my new home isn't ready when the truck arrives?
If your destination is not ready to receive the goods, we can arrange to hold your shipment in our secure, insured warehouse facilities. Please let us know as early as possible so we can route the truck to our storage facility instead of your address. Storage charges will apply.
